Sideways and Askew is a collaboration of Hayne Bayless and Liz Pagano.
Their artful illumination is hand crafted. Their designs include clay, rock, wood, cement, steel, copper, paper, fabric and other media they may find along the way. The shades themselves are hand decorated and may include drawing, printmaking, painting, encaustic, or a combination thereof in the design.
Some incorporate really cool papers they find in their travels as well.
The shapes they form have a playful animated feel that are decidedly sideways and askew..
